During the course of my teaching career at Qianhai Harbour School, I was engaged in various copywriting assignments, both within the English department and externally. While my primary focus was defining and implementing the ESL curriculum in my allocated classes, my role also extended into various other aspects of the school’s learning infrastructure, from running and preparing materials for extracurricular activities, such as Drama Club and Debate Club, as well as proofreading and co-producing all English language content for digital and print publications.
My editorial contributions culminated in a collaborative project between myself and the wider English faculty members, for which I co-authored and edited a series of educational materials under the title "Unforgettable Chinese Festivals", which were praised as “exemplary cultural texts” by the Nanshan Board of Education, and greenlighted to be taught as part of the set English curriculum in all government schools in the district.
